As an LLM Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and fine-tuning our Large Language Models (LLMs), ensuring they meet the specific demands of healthcare and related fields.
Key Responsibilities :
- Model Development: Work on fine-tuning and optimizing pre-trained LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA) for healthcare applications such as clinical decision support, payer operations, and patient engagement.
- Feature Implementation: Design and implement features powered by NLP and LLMs to address specific healthcare use cases.
- Data Preparation: Assist in preprocessing, cleaning, and annotating datasets for model training while ensuring compliance with data security and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Evaluation & Deployment: Evaluate model performance using metrics like accuracy, F1 score, and perplexity, and deploy models into production environments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, product managers, and healthcare domain experts to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in LLMs and suggest improvements to enhance our platform’s capabilities.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Large Language Models and NLP frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs).
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Understanding of transformer models, embeddings, and fine-tuning techniques.
- Knowledge of API integration and model deployment in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with deploying models using MLFlow, Kubeflow (MLOps)
- Experience in using AI libraries such as Langchain, LlamaIndex
- Familiarity with Cloud-native AI tools (Azure Open AI, Azure AI studio, AWS Sagemaker & Bedrock, GCP Gemini)
- Experience with Serverless Framework
Healthcare/Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with healthcare datasets, standards (e.g., FHIR, ICD codes), or regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
- Experience working on AI solutions for healthcare, payers, or pharma industries is advantageous.
Additional Skills:

As a Founding LLM Engineer, you will be integral in shaping our technical vision and creating a robust generative AI platform that powers innovative use cases in healthcare, payers, and pharma.
Key Responsibilities :
- Model Development & Fine-tuning: Develop, fine-tune, and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) tailored to healthcare-specific datasets, ensuring high accuracy and reliability for healthcare, payer, and pharmaceutical use cases.
- Platform Development: Architect and build the foundation of our Generative AI platform to support scalable, secure, and compliant deployments.
- Data Strategy: Collaborate with domain experts to curate and preprocess healthcare-specific datasets, ensuring adherence to data security and privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Innovation in Use Cases: Prototype and implement AI solutions for key challenges in clinical decision support, payer operations, pharma R&D, patient engagement, and more.
- Collaborative Leadership: Partner with co-founders to define the company’s product roadmap, strategy, and go-to-market execution.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure AI systems adhere to ethical guidelines, industry regulations, and data governance best practices.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
- Proven experience in developing and deploying Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, BERT, LLaMA).
- Strong expertise in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow for model training and deployment.
